We have been using quality training offered by The Business Resource Centre for a number of years. Training is always provided by competent individuals with experience in the field. Quality is not the most interesting subject; however, we all recognize its positioin in our organizations and still need to understand the rationale behind the standards, processes and tools available to use. It is often the instructors’ experience that provides the much needed real-life context to make the course invaluable.
I took the ISO 9001 Lead Auditor course as part of advancing my certification. The course material is, of course, closely controlled; however, the presentation and in-class discussions truly established an understanding that will allow me to place the context correctly. We were lucky to have participants from a number of industries (automotive, government, telecommunications and standards) which further enhanced the experience. As part of a continuing education program, our company brough in The BRC to instruct a Process Auditing seminar. Although our needs were somewhat unique, this material and the instructor provided welcome insights and sparked interesting discussions in the days following the course as we digested the material. The BRC provides the venue for our continued training growth; coupled with experienced instructors and diverse training locations, we can only see a fruitful future.
