ISO 45001 IS HERE!

ISO 45001:2018 is the international standard that offers requirements and guidance for Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems. This standard was released in March of 2018 as a replacement for the long-standing OHSAS 18001:2007 standard. Over a 3-year period, organizations will be expected to understand the new standard’s requirements and transition their OHSMS, with the final deadline for certification to ISO 45001 set as March 11, 2021.

ISO 45001 Training Courses
Understanding & Implementing ISO 45001:2018
This 2-day course delivers an in-depth review of the ISO 45001:2018 requirements for occupational health and safety management systems.
Intended for members of the organization’s implementation team, this course teaches the standard’s requirements through discussion and immersive, hands-on exercises, and will review approaches and techniques for implementing these requirements within an organization.
ISO 45001:2018 Internal Auditor
Building on knowledge acquired through previous training in the requirements of ISO 45001:2018, this course delivers the practical knowledge required to conduct internal audits of an ISO 45001:2018 OHSMS.
A review of ISO 45001:2018 requirements to ensure a thorough and common understanding, followed by information on how to conduct audits in accordance with the ISO 9000 series:
- ISO 19011:2011 – “Guidelines for Auditing Management Systems”, and
- “Guidance on the Concept and Use of the Process Approach for Management Systems”.
Through a balance of formal presentations, case studies, simulation of audit activities and group activities, participants will learn the necessary elements to perform a quality audit.
CSA Z1000-14 Training Courses
Understanding & Implementing CSA Z1000-14
Provides a detailed overview of the requirements of CSA Z1000-14, Canada’s National Standard for occupational health and safety management. Attendees will develop a solid understanding of how to create an effective policy for health and safety in their organization.
CSA Z1000-14 Internal Auditor
This course has been developed to provide participants with an understanding of the requirements of the CSA Z1000-14 Standard along with the knowledge and leadership skills that will enable them to plan, perform and document internal audits.
