Your Privacy Rights
From January 1, 2004, all businesses engaged in commercial activities must comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Document Act and the Canadian Standards Association Model Code for the Protection of Personal Information, which it incorporates. These obligations extend to trainers and training companies including The Business Resource Centre. The Act gives you rights concerning the privacy of your personal information.
The Business Resource Centre is responsible for the personal information we collect and hold. To ensure this accountability, we have developed the following principles.
Our Privacy Principles
We do not provide customer information to persons or organizations outside of The Business Resource Centre (The BRC). The BRC includes the consultants who work on behalf of The BRC.
We require that the consultants working on behalf of The BRC protect the confidentiality of The BRC customers.
NOTE: The BRC does conduct training courses on behalf of CSA. A person who registers for a CSA course that is being conducted by THE BRC will have their information (name, address and payment information) shared between CSA and The BRC.
