This general introduction course lays the groundwork for the new perspective and skills that are required for aspiring, new or current managers with no formal training.
Effective Communication in the Workplace
Understand the principles of effective communication and its impact in the workplace, and practice real strategies for persuading, negotiating and communicating effectively.
This course is designed for managers, but is beneficial to employees at all levels.
Taking Control of Time and Priorities
This course will develop and improve productivity and time management skills, and will equip individuals with the tools, knowledge, insights and skills to make them more effective and productive.
Participants will take control of their working environment as they learn how to plan each day, prioritize tasks, say ‘no’ to nonessential demands, delegate, limit distractions, and manage multiple priorities and tasks more effectively.
Dealing with People (Difficult or Otherwise)
Understand the types of difficult people and their motivations, learn to manage your reactions, and develop goals and strategies for overcoming negativity and getting results from team members.
